For books on architecture, go to the Pavillon de l'Arsenal. They publish some works themselves.

I lived above Librairie Olivier de Serres for 2 and a half years. Nice little bookshop, though Mme Dechanet was not a very understanding neighbour when we tried to throw parties! They stock more music books than art I think.
