Objets de Pouvoir en Nouvelle-Guinée

There is a fascinating exhibition running at the Musée Archéologie Nationale in Saint Germain en Laye.  A mixture of ethnological and archeological "Power objects" from  New Guinea recognised for it's rich and powerful wood sculpture which influenced artists inccluding Picasso, Chagall and Matisse.  It's a good chance to see inside the Chateau of Saint Germain en Laye where the museum is housed.  Until January 8th 2026.
