Gangsters de Paris
You may think of France as Balzac zone when it comes to literature but did you know the French love a good policière too?
This exhibition in the library dedicated to crime novels (yes, a whole library) celebrates the posters, ilustrations and films relating to organised crime, gangsters and the places they hung out in: Porte Saint-Denis and Saint-Martin, La Chapelle and Barbès, Montmartre and Pigalle.
All the more interesting to see the "baddie" pie chart breakdown. Take your pick from Corsicans, Poles, Jews, Collaborators, North Africans etc.
Until 31 january.
