Text Susie Hollands The small natural beauty boutique PATYKA on rue Rambuteau, 3rd arrondisement closed its doors recently, but Patyka products are still available in selected stores around Paris. Their products are impeccably produced in an old fashioned way with the very best ingredients.  You might think French women are still for slathering on the latest Dior or big brand wonder cream but the really savvy ones turned to luxe-organic products years ago.

Patyka sells alcohol free perfumes, skin care goods and yummy body washes but the best seller is Huile Absolut Organic Serum at 38 euros.  It's one of those multiple use products that once you discover you can never be without.  The active ingredients (Geranium, Rose, Santal and Muscatel) should be used 2 or 3 times a week as special intensive mega dose of plant power delivered to your skin, or as a night restorative treatment. Although primarily designed as a face care treatment it is also used as an after shave balm because of its healing and soothing properties, when travelling to sweep away the signs of jetlag, on nails and cuticles or even to repair nasty split ends Sublime.

Hi,

Last time we were back in Paris I discovered that the Patyka Boutique in the Rue Rambuteau was closed. I found some of their products at the Parapharmacies. However, it's mainly their perfume that I'm interested in. Any ideas as to where to find those???
