Phoenix vs. Babel, Everyone Wins.

Phoenixvsbabel At the Fondation d'Entreprise Ricard (like the tasty pastis), a new exposition, I mean, proposition de Patrice Joly finds Biblical, mythical and historical meaning in the modern art culture of Berlin.

The proposition, entitled Phoenix vs. Babel may sound like the best kung fu movie ever, but it's actually a channeling of two important myths (or truths?) - the story of the tower of Babel and the story of the rising Phoenix.

Apparently this has something to do with how Berlin is rising like a Phoenix in the art world and that before it was like the tower of Babel. Or maybe that Berlin is now like Babylone right before the tower of Babel fiasco, it's not really clear.

Whatever the outcome, expect a good round of pastis at the vernissage tonight, the 1st of December 2024 at 18h30.
