Kids Clothes for the Fashionistas

Sergent Here are some of the best places to check out fringues for little rascals...

Visiting fashion editors head for Du Pareil au Meme (list of shops all over Paris). The colours, designs and quality are all excellent and the prices low.

Tout Compte Fait and Sergent Major are also well priced, designed and excellent quality.  For run of the mill items, try Monoprix or the outdoor markets with clothes stalls.

American mother of three, Amy Lassalle, opened her own boutique, Le Marchand d’Etoiles with a collection featuring modern and refined prints with unexpected color combinations. Number 3 rue Chomel, 75007 right next to the Bon Marché was the first shop, there are now five branches in total.

A fun Fair Trade store for éco parents, Bébés en Vadrouille also stocks natural skincare products, baby carrying-scarves (echarpe porte-bebe) and various internationally sourced items such as clothing from the Andes in alpaca, Asian embroidered items and African wax fabric bedding and clothes.  It's a very friendly environment but the opening hours seem a little erratic.  Nearby, on the rue de rivoli (no. 32) close to Metro St Paul is Le Petit Bassin de Fruit Punch where you can find Misericordia gear as well as kiddie vintage like knitted suits and wool jackets from the 70's.

Starting young on a rock 'n' roll lifestyle? You can dress wee ones at Milk on the Rocks 7, rue de Mézières 75006 at Metro Saint-Sulpice - your kid will look like a mini Brooklyn hipster after being kitted out here where you can also find cool presents and toys.

For the classic French touch BCBG kid look (bon chic bon genre, or Preppy in the US, Sloaney in the UK) there is Cyrillus, Tartine et Chocolat, Jacadi or Bonpoint (the shop on rue de Tournon is fantastical, in a fairy tale way, there is also a little restaurant) or for discounts, (you'll need them) Bonpoint Fin de Séries. 42 Rue de l'Université 75006.

New entry! La 3eme Place - more of a hippy raver vibe but great, like velour tracksuits for toddlers and tons of handmade items by talented designers. On the canal St Martin stretch, near Hopital Saint Louis, 65 rue Bichat 75010

I mostly prefer to slim sweaters for my cute pie. They give warmness and will be weight less at the same time. Nice products released from your company. Thanks for sharing with us.
