for those on the breadline. Do not try Moisan. I bought a lof there a few years ago it cost about 6 euros.

There is a little breadshop in Rue Didot, when the owner discover I was Australian he allowed me to go to the front of the line, gave me an address to get cheese and wine, he then matched his bread to what I bought. I sat in a friends apartment overlooking the Eiffel Tower, and ate the most wonderful meal.

Thanks to the beautiful bread/cheese/wine! (and company) :o)

MOISAN

Until I tried la Boulangerie de Monge at 123 rue Monge, I thought Moisan was the best, but after I bought a pain au raisin there, I went across the street to Moisan and bought the same. La Boulangerie de Monge was certainly much much better.

I will have to try some of the others in the list.
