Palazzo Rinaldi Artists' Residence

Gattorsz Palazzo Rinaldi is a historical property dating back to 1822, providing its Residents with a unique and inspiring retreat in the heart of the South of Italy and away from the stresses and distractions of urban living.

The Palazzo is ideally located in the charming hilltop village of Noèpoli, within the confines of the Pollino

National Park (Basilicata). Resident artists are provided with elegant private accommodation, 24-hr access to in-house studios, free Internet access and home-made traditional breakfasts cooked daily using only locally sourced and seasonal produce, served outdoors on a panoramic terrace.

In addition a stay in the Palazzo’s timeless Lucania - immortalised in Carlo Levi’s classic Christ Stopped at Eboli – allows Residents an insight in the ‘real’ Italy off the beaten tourist track. Blue Flag-winning beaches, Greek archaeological sites and the UNESCO world heritage site of the Matera ‘Sassi’ are all within easy reach.

A Member of Res Artis.  Open every summer from 1st June to 30th September inclusive, now accepting Applications for 2024.  Please see website for application procedure and details.
