Superdome at Palais De Tokyo
Contemporary art can be hard to come by this time of year with nearly all of the galleries shutting down for the annual vacation. But fear not, as Le Palais De Tokyo remains a shining bastion of contemporary art even in the sweltering bleakness of mid-August Paris.
Always air-conditioned, cheap and interesting, Le Palais De Tokyo has once again succeeded in providing a solid lineup of art with its current exposition entitled Superdome. Taking into account the unique history of the enormous building that saw numerous sporting and music events, the arrival of Pope John Paul II and served as a refuge for Hurricane Katrina victims, the five solo exhibitions play on the diometric and paradoxical themes exemplified by the stadium.

VIA email - Hurry because closes aug 24th. Go early- opens at 12h- to sign up for the gigantesque trash heap you can crawl through by Christoph BÜCHEL. The Elephant is amazing. Its interesting to see how works are commissioned to be shown, as are too huge to be made by artist without plan to show.
